Alia Rose is Teena Marie’s Daughter

What a sad couple days for this family. Alia Rose celebrated Christmas and her birthday, but the next day Teena Marie’s daughter found her passed away in bed. She has had some health issues, but it is still unknown what exactly happened. For more details, photos and videos on her death and how her daughter is coping, keep reading below.

The mother was a R&B legend who was one of the few white women to make it big. The day after Christmas she was found dead and unfortunately it was her child who found her.

So who exactly is Alia Rose? The 19 year old has followed in her mother’s footsteps and performs under the name Rose Le Beau. As you can see below Teena Marie’s daughter has even done some music with her.

They seemed to have a great holiday together and both tweeted about it being the daughter’s birthday. The late singer wrote her last message saying:

“19 yrs ago today, I was in labor! My heavenly father gave me the most glorious gift I could ever receive. A Baby girl on Christmas!”



The mom was 54 when she died and had many popular songs including her pop hit “Lovergirl.” She grew up listening to R&B and therefore that is what style she sang. Her only child has a pretty powerful voice too and will hopefully be able to continue her legacy.

We all wish her family, loved ones and fans the best in this tough time, especially Teena Marie’s daughter who is so young and discovered that she had died. I sure hope Alia Rose has many loved ones around to help her through. What do you remember most about the singer?
