Now that they've signed Cliff Lee, the Phillies are looking to shed some payroll by moving righthander Joe Blanton.
A Red Sox source tells ESPNBoston.com the team has talked to the Phillies about Blanton, but that no deal appears imminent.
And Jeff Fletcher of AOL FanHouse reports via Twitter that a source tells him the Brewers are interested in Blanton, but only if Philly is willing to eat some of his contract.
Blanton, 30, finished 2010 with a 9-6 record and a 4.82 ERA. In seven big-league seasons, he is 72-60 with a 4.30 ERA.
