In a world of sex tapes and naked photos, Miley Cyrus is as pure as a fresh snowfall.

The allegedly racy photos of the young singer never depict her in anything less than underwear. That would be considered bundling up for truly promiscuous celebs such as Tila Tequila.

If Miley says she's a virgin, I see no reason to disbelieve her. What proof does anyone have to the contrary? A Vanity Fair photo shoot featuring her covered by a sheet?

Please.

Aside from Cyrus' word, let's look at her schedule. She's often on tour. She's the star of her own TV show. When would Miley even have time to find a boyfriend and build up the sort of trust needed to allow him into her precious garden of love?

Miley Cyrus has given us such hit songs as "7 Things" and "See You Again."

The least we can do in return is give her the benefit of the virginal doubt.

Years ago, a fresh-faced teen burst onto the scene with a catchy sound and a clean image, leading us to believe she was saving herself for marriage.

Turns out she gave up her v-card at age 14 to some dude named Reg Jones.

Reg was the first of many, many men to get in Britney Spears' pants. Is Miley Cyrus destined to fall apart and end up under involuntary psychiatric hold like Britney? Probably not. But wake up, people - you're being conned.

"But, Free Britney, she wears a purity ring," you say! Oh, right, how can I forget.

What is this, Lord of the Rings? I hate to break it to you, but other than subversive mind-control over parents who read about it and decide Miley's music is therefore appropriate for their teenagers' ears, said ring has no actual power.

Miley, The Jonas Brothers, Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato are all corporate drones pimped by a cutthroat media conglomerate and the purity ring nonsense is but a Disney company line. It's called marketing. End of story.

But forget these theories. Look at the conduct Miley herself has displayed.

Miley nearly took it all off for Annie Leibovitz - who's heinous - with her father right there! Think Lucas Till can't get in her pants after a few wine coolers and some slow, seductive music while Billy Ray's outta town?

Before landing her roles on "Just the Ten of Us" as dizzy Cindy Lubbock, Jamie began her career in front of the cameras at the tender age of three doing TV commercials. When she was 15, she won the L.A. Shakespeare Festival in the category of monologues. While still working on, "Just the Ten of Us" Jamie was still in high school. She graduated from Beverly Hills High School in 1989. She took a break from acting and she attended culinary school and was a chef in Drai's, a French restaurant, after Just the Ten of Us was cancelled in 1991.

Then returned to TV in Moment of Truth: Why My Daughter? in 1993, then she had a few small parts in shows such as "Married with Children", Diagnosis Murder". Then she got her first break as Southern seductress Peyton Richards in "Savannah". After the prime time soap was cancelled, Jamie and her than boyfriend, John Braz, travel around the US in an Airstream motor home before she landed the role of Lexi in Melrose Place". After the Fox soap ended in 1999, so did her 4 year romance with her boyfriend. Then after Ally Walker left, Jamie joined the cast of "Profiler" as Rachel Burke.

Later on she was in ABCs short lived "10-8: Officers on Duty". Then in 2005 she had lead roles in Lifetime's, Blind Injustice, Stranger in My Bed and in 2006 The Suspect, The Perfect Marriage and a guest spot on. "The War at Home".

Jamie has also done theater work in Santa Monica in "Black & Bluestein," Other Space, Santa Monica and The Young Playwrites Festival in Los Angeles.

Her teachers believe her mannerisms are poetic, she even gets to sit in the popular table on her first day which attracts Cutter's attention.

But Megan doesn't know that Ariel is more than what everyone thinks she is. Ariel Cola is beyond being an average girl. Not only is she beautiful, brilliant, and sophisticated, but she's also an alien. Because her father was a freedom fighter on her home planet, she had to leave her boyfriend Fanul (the son of the emperor), her home, and her mother. On her home planet, every citizen is a gaseous bubble that floats carelessly, so she's very uncomfortable with the solid objects of Earth. She hates everything on Earth: her name, the wind that blows, the solid objects and people,"every time I look at this horrid vehicle; the rubbery flesh, the flat face, the ghastly yellow hair that grows out of this hideous skull, I can only think I am grotesque." and her recent enemy, the evil Megan Larson, whose mother is engaged to her father. But as she and Megan realize that they both want to separate their parents, they agree on a temporary alliance, but none of their plans work well.

When Megan begins to suspect something unusual is going on, she finds out that both Ariel and Cosmo are aliens. In the end, Fanul and his father show up to take Ariel and Cosmo home but Fanul turns on his father after Megan, Ariel and Cutter convince him of the benefits of freedom. As Ariel's race is vulnerable to the wind, she, Megan, Cutter, Fanul and Megan's brother Trevor are able to destroy the emperor with a leaf-blower and hairdryers. After the emperor is killed, Cosmo marries Kathy, Megan and Fanul develop feelings for each other while Ariel and Cutter do the same and Ariel and Megan become best friends. Also, Fanul plans to return home and take over as ruler as his father was killed, but also plans to make changes to the way things are run and grant the people freedom.

Anthony Cris Collinsworth (born January 27, 1959 in Dayton, Ohio) is a former American football player and a television sportscaster.



Collinsworth moved to Titusville, Florida as a youth. He played quarterback and ran sprints at Astronaut High School in Titusville, becoming a Florida High School Athletic Association Class 3A 100 yard dash state champion in 1976. However, as a student at the University of Florida he switched to wide receiver and made the College Football All-America Team as a senior. During his career at Florida, he caught 120 passes for 1,977 yards and 14 touchdowns, while also scoring 2 rushing touchdowns and 1 on a kickoff return.[1] He is a brother of the Florida Alpha Omega Chapter of the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity. After college, Collinsworth was drafted by the National Football League's Cincinnati Bengals in the second round of the 1981 NFL Draft.

NFL playing career

During his NFL career, Cris Collinsworth surpassed 1,000 yards receiving four times (in 1981, 1983, 1985, and 1986) and was named to the Pro Bowl in 1981, 1982 and 1983. At 6'5" in height, Collinsworth often created mismatches against much smaller cornerbacks. In addition to his height advantage, Collinsworth was a legitimate "deep threat" due to his speed.

In Super Bowl XVI, Collinsworth caught four passes for 107 yards, but committed a costly fumble when he was hit by San Francisco defensive back Eric Wright.

In 1985, Collinsworth signed with the Tampa Bay Bandits of the United States Football League, but the contract was voided when he failed the physical due to a bad ankle. He returned to the Bengals and played for them until the end of the 1988 season, catching 3 passes for 40 yards in Super Bowl XXIII, the final game of his career. He finished his 8-season career with 417 receptions for 6,698 yards and 36 touchdowns in 107 games.

Broadcasting career

After retirement, Collinsworth began his broadcasting career as a sports radio talk show host on Cincinnati station WLW. Initially he was a guest host for Bob Trumpy (himself another Bengals alumnus), but took over the show full-time as Trumpy accepted more television assignments. He then became a reporter for HBO's (now Showtime's) Inside the NFL in 1989.[2]

In 1990, he became a part of the NBC network's NFL broadcasts, as well as some of the college programming. He joined the NBC pregame show in 1996.

In 1998, Collinsworth joined the NFL on FOX team after NBC lost their broadcast rights to CBS. After several years as a color commentator on the FOX NFL Sunday pregame show, Collinsworth was assigned to the network's lead game broadcasting crew (teaming with Joe Buck and Troy Aikman) in 2002. He worked on Fox's Super Bowl XXXIX telecast three years later.

NEW YORK - A clothing company known for its racy ads is fighting a $10 million lawsuit brought by Woody Allen, arguing that it can't have damaged his reputation by using his image because the film director has already ruined it himself.

The 73-year-old Allen started the fight against American Apparel Inc. when he sued the company last year for using his image on the company's billboards in Hollywood and New York and on a website.

Allen, who does not endorse products in the United States, said he had not authorized the displays, which the Los Angeles-based company said were up for only a week.

Now the company plans to make Allen's relationship to actress Mia Farrow and her adopted daughter Soon-Yi Previn the focus of a trial scheduled to begin in federal court in Manhattan on May 18, according to the company's lawyer, Stuart Slotnick.

"Woody Allen expects $10 million for use of his image on billboards that were up and down in less than one week. I think Woody Allen overestimates the value of his image," Slotnick said.

"Certainly, our belief is that after the various sex scandals that Woody Allen has been associated with, corporate America's desire to have Woody Allen endorse their product is not what he may believe it is."

One billboard featured a frame from "Annie Hall," a film that won Allen a best director Oscar. The image showed Allen dressed as a Hasidic Jew with a long beard and black hat and Yiddish text. The words "American Apparel" also were on the billboard.

Allen's lawsuit said the billboard falsely implied that Allen sponsored, endorsed or was associated with American Apparel.

Slotnick said it was not a cheap shot to bring up Allen's sex life in a lawsuit over the billboard and Internet ads.

"It's certainly relevant in assessing the value of an endorsement," he said, noting that Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps lost endorsement power after a photograph surfaced of him using marijuana.

Farrow starred in several of Allen's movies during a relationship with the director that ended in 1992 when she discovered he was having an affair with her oldest adopted daughter, then 22. Allen married Soon-Yi Previn in 1997.

During a bitter custody fight, Farrow accused Allen of sexually abusing their adopted daughter Dylan, 7. Allen was exonerated of the abuse charges, but Farrow won sole custody of the children.

Leslee Dart, a spokeswoman for Allen, said Friday she does not believe Allen wants to comment on the litigation at this point.

American Apparel is known for its provocative ads of scantily dressed young models in tight fitting and sometimes see-through garments.

Allen testified at a December deposition that he considered the company's advertising to be "sleazy" and "infantile."

Lawyers for American Apparel have complained that Allen has refused to turn over much of the information they have demanded to prepare for trial.

Among their demands were documents concerning any endorsement requests that were withdrawn after the sex scandal with Farrow and Previn became public.

The documents defined sex scandal as "your relationship with Soon-Yi Previn including the discovery ... (of) nude pictures you took of Soon-Yi Previn."

The lawyers also requested documents concerning Allen's public image and reputation, including his contention during his deposition that he was a "special kind of entity" or a "special taste."

Allen's lawyers said the request for documents related to the sex scandal and custody battle were "vexatious, oppressive, harassing" and not relevant.

Slotnick said he could not discuss whether there were any settlement talks underway but he hinted that the company may be open to avoiding a trial.

"All I can say is that the company has apologized for the use of Mr. Allen's image, however brief. And the company apologized if they offended Mr. Allen's sensibilities," he said.

The love triangle ended in tragedy when 20-year-old Sixto Balbuena found his former high school math teacher, Tamara Hofmann, in bed with a current student - and fatally stabbed his rival, police said.

"The blade went in like going into butter," Balbuena told cops later as he expressed remorse for murdering 18-year-old Samuel Valdivia.

Meanwhile, school officials in Chandler, Az., were under fire for failing to fire a 48-year-old teacher with a track record of allegedly preying on her students.

"It was not given a top priority," Vince Yanez, executive director of the Arizona's state Board of Education, admitted to the East Valley Tribune newspaper.

Hofmann, the temptress in the triangle, has not been charged with a crime but remains under investigation.

Court records obtained by The Associated Press revealed she has been embroiled in a nasty divorce since December 2007.

Valdivia met his end when Balbuena - a sailor on leave - arrived on Hofmann's home early last Friday.

Balbuena let himself in and - hearing noises in the bedroom and fearing something was wrong - grabbed a kitchen knife and went to investigate, police said.

It was there he found Valdivia in his boxers and Hofmann wearing nothing at all, police said.

Furious, Balbuena beat the teenager and hurled a computer printer at him while the cowering Valdivia apologized.

Determined to "teach the victim a lesson," Balbuena stabbed his rival in the lower side with the knife, police said.

Balbuena also beat Hofmann and demanded to know how long she had been cheating on him, police said.

Realizing that Valdivia was mortally wounded, Balbuena called 911 and waited - covered in his rival's blood - for the police to arrive.

The slain teen's mom said she had no idea her son - an aspiring singer - was sleeping with his teacher.
"He was a good boy, a very good boy," Placida Maldonado told the paper.

"Maybe if my son was a pothead or a gangbanger I would've expected something like this, but I can't accept it."

Hofmann has been suspended from the Chandler charter high school where she taught at-risk students.

Two years ago, Hofmann was ousted from the high school in Tempe, Az., where she met Balbuena after cops caught them together in a car parked on a dark street. Her bra was found in Balbuena's pocket.

Hofmann was docked 10 days pay and reassigned to an administrative office while a probe that could have led to the loss of her teaching certificate was launched.

The investigation went nowhere because Balbuena wouldn't testify. Now he sits in jail on $100,000 bond.
