Stores Open On New Year’s Day 2011 in Demand For New Years Day Sales – Various stores are opening their New Years Day Sales 2011 today, the first day of New Year 2011. Since today is holiday, a lot of offices are closed and that includes government offices nationwide. Today is the start of the year for profit taking and just like the recently held Black Friday Sales, Cyber Monday Sales and After Christmas Sales, New Years Day Sales is expected to become a hit amongst stores nationwide.

Apparently, not all stores are open for today’s New Years Day Sales 2011 as most of them are offering their sales online like Sears, Kohls, Macys, etc. Among the store that will open on today’s New Year’s Day Sales 2011 are Dillard’s, Walmart, Best Buy, Target, and Harbor Freight.



Dillard’s stores will be open today from 9 am to 7pm offering their New Years Day 2011 Sales which includes the popular 50% off marked down price. Meanwhile, Harbor Freight stores will be open today from 9am up until 5pm and consumers and shoppers can avail of the 25% off discount on any tools item in all Harbor Freight stores as part of their New Year’s Day Sales 2011 nationwide.

The largest retailer Walmart will also join the New Years Day Sales as most of their stores open 8am to 10pm depending on the location. but we’re not sure if this will hold true for all stores nationwide. Joining the team of open stores this New Year’s day 2011 is Target which today on New Year’s day 2011. You will need to check with your local Target stores for their store hours.

Best Buy stores will also be open as several consumers will buy in-store items this New Year’s Day 2011 to take advantage of the New Year’s Day Sales 2011 offered by the retailer.
