(Media-Newswire.com) - Talk show host Oprah Winfrey has launched her OWN network channel today after 25 years of shows. The Oprah Winfrey Network debuts on January 1, 2011 with hopes of her loyal followers coming to the new channel.
The schedule for the OWN network begins at 12 noon Eastern time with a one hour special with Oprah Winfrey who will guide viewers through the new channel, programming and shows that are upcoming.
Some of the programs have already been set for the day including 'Kidnapped by the Kids', 'Master Class' and a show hosted by Peter Walsh.
